1969 (15 Jahre) erster Preis eines Jugendwettbewerbs aller türkischen Gymnasien Zyperns mit dem Bild "Junges Paar"

1974 (drei Monate vor dem Zypern-Krieg 1974) Aufnahme des Studiums in Berlin

1980-1986 Studium der Werbung und Kommunikation an der Hochschule der Künste.

1989-92 Erzieherausbildung Tätig als Erzieher seit 1979 in der Heilig – Kreuz - Kirche (Kreuzberg) und im Deutsch-Türkischen Kinderclub e.V.

Hulusi Halit born in 1954 in Koloni / Paphos in Cyprus.

Startet painting at the age of six. Nomination as best pupil of all Turkish secondary schools in Paphos by Ali Atakan.

In 1969 highest award in a youth contest of all Turkish-speaking secondary schools in Cyprus with the painting "Young Couple".

In April 1974 move to Berlin.

1980-1986 studies in Advertising and Communication at the University of Arts Berlin (HDK).

1989-92 Professional education as tutor. Since 1979 educator.

Here he applied his artistic skills in his professional work as educator. The experience he gained during his youth has a strong impact on his paintings, which reflects repeatedly his cubic tradition. His special interest is in the artistic dialogue with nature.

For the past ten years he exhibits in different Berlin Galleries.

This is his second solo exhibition in Cyprus. His last exhibition in Cyprus “Glances at Cultures” took place in Melina Mercouri Hall in Nicosia at September 2005.
